Hello, I'm Lucía, a psychologist and part of the AFRA team, a space that has been key in my personal and professional growth.
For a while I moved away from psychology, not because I stopped caring, but because I felt disconnected from its essence… and from my own as well. I worked in another field that, Although it didn't fulfill me, it helped me to know myself better, to support myself and to look inward. with more depth. That personal process was essential to reconnect with my vocation from a more authentic and conscious place.
At AFRA I found a space that allowed me to look at my own wounds with compassion and rediscover the enthusiasm for this profession. Today I help people in moments when who feel that their well-being is blocked, helping them reconnect with themselves respect, tenderness and without judgment. I work with adults, youth, minors and families, offering a safe space where each who can listen to themselves, understand themselves and rebuild themselves at their own pace.
I trained as a Gestalt therapist at Afra and completed a Master's degree in General Health Psychology. and I took the postgraduate course “The art of being”, a path that helped me to continue getting to know myself acquire new personal and professional tools. I integrate clinical and professional aspects into my work. human, with the certainty that each therapeutic encounter is unique.
I deeply believe in the power of the connection, in the strength of feeling truly heard and in the importance of looking inward with compassion. I am grateful for the path journey, because it has brought me here: to this place from which I can be, be and accompany from who I truly am.
