AFRA-UNIR Collaboration
With the aim of bringing professional reality closer to the academic world, as well as combining professional and educational synergies and competencies, a collaboration proposal is being made with the University of Huelva and AFRA, the Huelva Gestalt Psychotherapy Center.
The Afra Team has always been driven by our social conscience and our desire to collaborate with various organizations that promote social relations, education, and all areas that work in one way or another with different social groups:
- We are aware of the importance of strengthening relations with the University, within a framework of educational cooperation, joining forces to offer better service to society and promote the transfer and exchange of knowledge.
- The intention is to open up to existing social reality, in order to contribute to community and personal needs, through an interdisciplinary project and professional team.
- Considering the diversity and changes currently taking place, it is therefore important to connect and collaborate with organizations and institutions that are part of the social landscape.
The goals that we considered with this collaboration proposal were:
- To bring students closer to theory and practice in accordance with the subjects of study and teaching guide
- Collaborate with teachers in a dynamic and practical pedagogy
- Promote tools and techniques that foster empathy and working with people (taking into account the proposed subjects)
- Promote and/or facilitate the applicability of the acquired theoretical knowledge
- Enhance students' vocational and motivational resources
- Promote more meaningful learning for students
- Bringing the university context closer to the workplace
- Show a social reality closer and in line with a future job
At AFRA, we continue to believe in the benefits of contributions to the university world, as well as the benefits to our organization, as a way to promote our center and what we do. We are aware of the importance of establishing, consolidating, and expanding relationships with the university.
We look forward to continuing to collaborate on future projects like the one we have developed (continuing the conference series, bringing in renowned professionals of prestige and professionalism).
