Aware of the need to help enrich the teaching profession, and convinced that emotional education is necessary, focusing on a different way of educating—educating our emotions, our bodies, our ideas, and ultimately, our being—we have made a small contribution.
With the name of Diversity Lab A work proposal was made with the teaching staff of the IES: “Painter Pedro Gómez” from Huelva, included in the "School Space for Peace" program. This experience was a joint effort between Gestalt and Body Movement, with the intention of encouraging participants to engage in introspection and self-knowledge. Through personal work, the group could impact the improvement of relationships among peers and, above all, with students. They provided mutual support and acquired, or at least gained access to, tools and resources that could help them in their work: group dynamics, breathing, here-and-now techniques, visualizations, etc.
