At Afra, we continue to care for those who care for us. We continue to collaborate with this sector in our community as a healthcare center, consistent with our operating philosophy.
In the 1st Edition, now closed, 8 workshops were held, from March 14 to May 2, 2023, lasting 27 hours in the afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The needs detected and demanded by this group were:
- Get to know people from my work environment, sector, or professional area to promote team cohesion.
- Learn to delegate responsibilities, share, and cooperate as a team to create support networks in the workplace.
- Create strategies to set internal and external limits for professionals to avoid emotional overload or physical and mental stress.
- To develop self-care strategies and practice a more humane approach and a more comprehensive biopsychosocial approach in healthcare work.
The objectives that were raised in the sessions were:
- Connecting with my emotions and bodily sensations to be able to address my current needs and self-care, as well as extrapolate this in parallel to my relationships with others (users, healthcare environment, staff), that is, to be able to balance both internal and external aspects of the person.
- Connect with the creative side of life, the flexibility, adaptability, and respect for the differences we encounter in a world subject to constant change.
- Strengthen and humanize relationships within work teams, contributing to a more harmonious and respectful environment.
