Hi, I'm Virginia, I'm part of Afra's therapeutic team.
From a very young age, I felt a deep curiosity to understand people and listen beyond words. This social calling led me to study psychology and continue my journey of personal self-discovery, training in different fields. Initially, I pursued a more structured approach focused on behavior, but something inside me yearned for more.
Over time (and with a lot of internal work), I realized that real change began when I connected with my experience, with my emotions, with my body, with what hurts me... and also with what gives meaning.
My personal therapy process at Afra has been fundamental for me; it brought about a change in my way of experiencing life and relating to myself and others. It has allowed me to look inward in a more loving way, as well as to accompany others during therapeutic processes without losing sight of what is most important: the person.
